So..I need to find a great foundation primer. my skin is oily. 5hrs into the day, feels like an oil spill on my face. also, what do you guys use for a great full coverage foundation????????

My skin is terribly oily. I use Milk of Magnesia as a primer and it keeps my oil at bay. As far as foundation I swear by Revlon ColorStay. They have 2 formulas - Normal/Dry & Combo/Oily. The Combo/Oily also helps control the oilies. HTH! :)

I'm still on the hunt for a great primer bc I have the same problem. Lately I've been messing around with the tarte primers. As far as foundation my top pick is Estée Lauder double wear. I also like stila stay all day (comes w a matching concealer and brush) and some kind of gorgeous by benefit.

I have oily skin and I don't really use a primer because I feel like it just makes it worse but I have used L'Occitane red rice toner and that helps a lot.

Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer. What's your skin regimen? I have really oily skin too and the Cetaphil Derma Line (Oil Free Foam cleanser and Oil Free moisturizer) helped a lot.

thank you all!! @Tamika, I have been using milk of mag actually! I kinda startes breaking out..so stopped that! and I'm glad to have validation of the revlon colorstay!! I love it, didn't know if there were more like it for the price!!

@pamela, this sounds horrid, but my skin regimen isn't that great. I have 3kids and its hard to have the energy at the end of the day or morning for a GOOD regimen! I definitely wash and exfoliate. I tone OCCASIONALLY and moisturize of course. never do masks because I want a good one. Im guilty of not washing my face at night a lot- I know, shame!

Pressed powders may help, rather than to use a primer. I've splurged on Guerlain's pressed powder compact (Teint Beige, I think it's called), and it's done wonders.
Also, Khiel's products for oily skin, especially their oil-free moisturizer is a miracle worker.
