Every time I wear a red lip, I feel like my lips get dry, and I'm constantly reapplying. Can I just use Chapstick or should I use a lip stain or something?

Maybe try a gloss on top :) maybe Almay liquid lip balm. Or a bit of Rosebud salve, using a lip balm before applying will also help. I think EOS lip balm works really well for this purpose as its a bit more of a dry balm, although I don't like then otherwise.
