I would go with shoulder blade for 2 reasons. Number 1, what Erin said. Number 2, because you won't have to look at it all day, everyday. I still admire my back tattoos (3 years) because I can't see them very much, it's like they're still new in a way.

Yes it will. Not as quickly as hand and finger tattoos but it will fade quicker because of things like washing of your hands.
