Well I have dry skin so I always use luminous products anyways but I also just love dewy and shimmery looks. I really love my L'Oreal Magic Lumi Primer as for foundations I usually just wear mineral foundations and concealer. But liquid foundations I do like are Clinique Even Better and Makeup Forever HD. Nars Sheer Glow and Too Faced BB Cream gave me a great glow but they broke me out. As for any extra dewy shimmer I love Too Faced Candlelight Glow Duo or UD Naked Illuminating Face and Body Powder (highlighters), Milani Baked Bronzer and Physicians Formula Sexy Boost (bronzers), and L'Oreal Cream Blushes, Nyx, and Elf Facial Whips (good but don't last for long), but cream blushes give a awesome glow.

If you still have your matte foundation then you can mix in a liquid highlight, or you can mix in your moisturizer for a dewy finish.

I agree with Lisa the Loreal magic lumi primer gives you a really dewy base for your skin. It almost makes it look metallic. Although, if you use that primer and then use your matte foundation, it will give your skin a light dewyness.
