Make sure you exfoliate your face everyday before bed and in the morning, drink lots of water, moisturize your face once a day.

Exfoliating too much (as in daily) is actually really bad for your skin and especially worse if you have acne. Honestly the best thing I ever did for my skin was purchasing a Clarisonic, completely worth the price. It needs to be used consistantly (I use mine once a day @ night, right brush for skin type (I use the delicate), and used gently (don't press too deep into the skin) to notice great results. So you may look into one of those, I've had mine for two years and I love it. Always have a good skin routine though, remove your makeup (never skip.), wash, and moisturize. My favorite acne cleansers are Philosophy (HG for me right now!), Murad, and Avon Clearskin (white and purple bottle...) and my fav gentle cleansers and moisturizers are CeraVe's. And I moisturize in the am and pm. Mask also help me (I use about once a week or just whenever needed, so sometimes less than once a week and more like 2-3 month), my favorite mask are Queen Helene's Mint Julep and Freeman's Charcoal.

Whatever you do though please do not use lemons, baking soda, (basically and diy treatments), vaseline (its a sealant so its going to clog your pores and make the issue worse, similar to coconut oil, but the coconut oil doesn't have them chemicals vaseline does, but its not going to make your acne better...).
