p.s. its an evening reception in august..so it could be humid/rainy..

Love your dress.. You can wear some big earrings.. I don't think any necklace is required.. And for hair you can do half updo..

Hair all up would be nice, it would show the work on the neckline. and yes dangly earrings. a Smokey eye with nudish lips or a neutral eye with a bright lip color would both look good.

That is a lovely dress!! I would wear my hair up in a messy side bun, with very soft makeup, like the picture Sanjana posted. Statement earrings, not dangly ones, or diamond studs would be nice. I usually wear a watch on one hand, and accessorize the other, so either a full hand of matching churis, or a sleek bracelet. Heels, for sure, preferably with stonework. Lastly, a stonework clutch.

I feel that dangly earrings look better with an open neckline, and since this is more of a bandh-gala style, studs would look better :)

Thanks so much mohini, sanjana, avishan, asmina, tanya. each one of you!
I am so much more clear now about what I want to do.
I think I'll go with an updo of some kind, with softened smokey eyes and nude lips...kinda like the picture.
I forgot to add that I have braces currently, so I try to steer away from looks that highlight the lip area...so nothing bold there.
thanks for the suggestions :-* I really appreciate it.

Lovely dress.. Curly hair are the new in thing.. But I know its hot to let your hair down.. I would suggest to wave your hair and tie it into a messy bun.. Yes I agree with mohini.. Nude make up and red hot lips ;)
