Do you trust amazon to sell authentic coach bags? I know zappos is legit, but I don't know about amazon. thanks and I hope this category is ok.

What Jacqlyn said! A seller can claim it's real and sell it for regular Coach bag prices. Coach bags should have an authenticity lablel in the bag somewhere like Uggs do, search it!

It all depends on the seller. People say eBay isn't legit when it comes to authentic stuff, but my my bought a brand new coach bag from there and it was authentic. So it all just depends. Make sure the seller has good feedback.

1. Check out the person selling the item, such as if they have made a lot of sales, etc.
2. Check reveiws.
3. Look at the pictures of the bag and Google ways to tell a fake from the real thing.
4. If you are still unsure maybe contact the seller and ask for authentication.
5. When the bag arrives check it furthermore, what was on the picture may not be what they sent you if they are untrustworthy.
6. You can ALWAYS return it if you are unsatisfied, you're paying good money so it's okay to be nitpicky sometimes.

I would just go straight to the source and cancel out the what if's stress. But if you go the Amazon route definitely ask for detailed pics of inside the bag and exterior seams. If you contact Coach customer service they will be able to give additional pointers.

Yeah, just go directly to a Coach store or something because there usually isn't even a large deal by purchasing from Amazon.

The coach store itself has a few sales during the year where their bags are 50% off. The last sale I saw was after Christmas. It might be worth the wait.

I can tell for some other brands most of the stuff on Amazon for designer purses are fake if it's not sold by Amazon then they are not liable for other sellers merchandise - so do your research and know how to tell the difference between the real thing and fakes each designer has a signature that every purse bares and you can usually google how to tell the difference.

Oh and there is the online Coach outlet. Be careful in your search because there is a website that says it sells real Coach and their website looks very similar to the real deal. When you register with the online outlet they send you online and outlet store coupons to use towards purchase. The savings is pretty major...up to 75% off in some instances.
