I wouldn't Pierce your lip from personal experience. I had snake bites, spider bites and single piercings. they scab scar and infect easy, the wrong jewelry will scar your beautiful face, and the wrong artist will screw it up. also, the metal is bad for your teeth. it scrapes off enamel. plastic rings are porous and will take in any bacteria and infect. just fyi.
