For mascara, I like Maybelline Mega Plush, which is only about $7. For liner, I like the Rimmel Scandaleyes pencil liner ($5), elf liquid liner ($3), or Maybelline Eyestudio gel liner ($10). Stila liners are also very good, but they are high end and therefore quite expensive.

Urban decay glide on liner pencils are beautiful! As far mascara try maybelline the falsies or rocket. I always have good luck with those. (:

since you're a beginner I'd recommend the maybeline liner pen (it's like a retractable)

Oh and I've only ever used maybelibe mascara. I'd recommend starting off with the great lash :)))

I perfer to use liquid on the top so kat von d tattoo liner and I use Mufe cream shadow on the bottom my personal favorites, mascara I'm up in the air still at 35 I have yet to find a favorite (:
