My brother is getting married this sunday and the rehearsal is this friday night. I have no clue what to wear! we are meeting at the hotel to practice the ceremony and what not then going to a restaurant to have dinner. what is proper attire for these kinds of things? dressy casual? please I need some outfit ideas. I don't wanna be too dressed up but I also don't wanna be too casual...

I would go kind of a mix. It's usually causal but with the dinner you won't have time to change so a nice outfit but does not have to be elegant!

First it depends on what the dress code is for the wedding. Is it black tie? Semi-formal? Casual? This will reflect how you dress for the rehearsal dinner. If it's a formal then I would suggest dressing semi-formal for the rehearsal. So don't wear jeans or something too casual, but wear a dress either with or without leggings. If you want something a bit more casual just do a really nice blouse with a skirt. You can also just ask your brother or someone in your family what they're wearing.

Maybe something like this, not too flashy but still looks very classy

I had worn this for my cousins wedding.

If you don't want a dress a nice top like this would work paired with a nice skirt.

If you're interested the first and third picture are from Le Chateau. They have amazing clothes for casual/semi-formal/formal occasions like this and they always have sales. If there's one by you go take a look I'm sure you will find something.

The wedding is semi-formal.

It's always better to be a little over-dressed than too casual. If you show up in jeans - even if your outfit is cute and styled - when no one else has jeans or anything of equivalent casualness, you would probably feel uncomfortable. Especially since you are going to dinner after, I would dress up a little more, preferably with a skirt or dress. At the same time, choose something that fits you and feels comfortable. For example, wear flats, wedge heels, or fashionable boots. You could wear pants if you wanted, but try to go with business-like pants instead of jeans or leggings and pair with a blazer, a blouse, heels, and a statement necklace.

Well I have two suggestions :)

The first pic is a romper paired with a blazer. But if you don't want to show some leg then here's my second suggestion :) hope that helps.

What about something like this? I have these pants and I would wear them with nude flats or red wedges.
