Which semi-permanent hair dye for bright colors works best? I really need your advice I've used beyon the zone and personally it sucked!! at least for me it did nothing but stain my neck and fingers.

Pravana vivids hands down! For some colors, like the forrest blue/green, I could put it on without bleach and still have noticeable color. They are crazy pigmented and gorgeous, and last a good deal of time.

Amplified is a good one. Pravana is the best pure dye. Raw is kinda good.

Beyond the zone is a nightmare in a bottle. I've had my fair share of battles with their products. I recommend Manic Panic products or Pravana Vicissitudes for bright, long-lasting colors.

Special effects, longest lasting and mixes nicely.
Color Ion is a hit or miss, the red and pink are awful but the blue never leaves, I've bleached and cut my hair multiple times and you can still see a bit of it.

I liked Directions, although I used pastel colors so I can't say much for the color vibrancy. I typically use Manic Panic though, as that's what's easily available around here. They work well as far as color pay - off goes, the shades always end up gorgeous and vivid. The staying power is terrible with that brand though.

Manic Panic (amplified) is great, especially since it's easy to get AND works great!
