I wear red lips like almost everyday. There is a very mixed reaction, but I love it! Do it if you wanna do it! I'd look for a ruby red with your skin tone

Tarte wild is an excellent lipstick. It stays on for so long and has a great color. I can eat and drink and it will stay on. Even when it feels like it is all gone, it is still as bright as when you put it on.

I swatched a tiny bit of tarte wild few days back and my God, it defntly stayed on...m kind of dwelling between that and Mac ruby woo or Russian red... I do not have any Mac lippie... not sure which one will be better from my medium. skin tone & black hair :( :( :( I heard Alabama (nyx matte lipstick) is a nice darker blue based color! worth trying!

Nothing wrong with wearing red a lot but I personally think it looks too dated. There are sort of like "rules" for wearing red lipstick depending on your skin color but I see it as more of a guide. I have an warm/olive complexion (yellow skin but with a green tint) and I manage to look good with any red. I think two good colors would be MAC Ruby Woo and MAC Russian Red.

Thank you! Yes it actually depends on the look you're going for when you have a warm complexion. Since I have a warm tone lady danger just looks like a neon red while on a cool tone it may look more orange. When I wear more blue toned shades they bring out my yellow tones which looks nice. I find blue toned shades for more evening occasions, it just looks more... Formal or something and the more warm toned ones for a bright day color

Honestly I haven't found. A red lipstick that suits me like a light bright red the only ones I have that I have worn is wine red which I love also love purple are lips but I don't think red looks good on me :/
