If you get e.l.f., get the studio brushes. The regular brushes (especially the red tipped) aren't as good

If you're at Target, pick up the makeup brush sets from Sonia Kashuk. Adorable packaging but the brushes are very high quality. I would also recommend E.L.F. brushes to round out your collection. (E.L.F. eyeshadow brushes are awesome for the price you pay.)

Try Eco-tools! They're more expensive than elf, but better quality, without being too expensive. You can find them at target or Walgreens :)

I use the ELF studio line brushes. I haven't had any trouble with them. I've also heard EcoTools, real techniques, & essence of beauty are good but in expensive. All the ones mentioned thus far are the same ones I've heard recommended by others so these girls know what they're talking about :)

I use Chanel and they are expensive but they last around 8-10 years if properly cleaned. With a lot of drug store brands, you're not really saving. Say you purchase a $10 loreal mascara, it will last maybe 4-6 weeks, most higher end mascaras, Mac, smash box, urban decay, too faced run $18-$23 and they last me 3-4 months.

Elf if you're tight on cash. But try eco tools from Rite Aid they are great for face, blush, blending, and contouring. Not too good on the eyes but give it a try! Costs like $7 for a pack of 5 or so.

BH Cosmetics offer great quality brushes for face, eyes, everything. The only downside is that it's online. But check it out, most of their brushes are less than $10.

Ecotools makes amazing brushes and they are super affordable.

I adore my Sedona Lace brushes (www.sedonalace.com) and starting tomorrow they're having a huge 50% off sale for Black Friday. I also love my e.l.f. Studio brushes. The Essential ($1) brushes are okay but aren't as durable as the Studio ones. HTH! (:

ELF brushes are great and get the job done for $1-$3 but they tend to shed alot so I would say go for BH Cosmetics they constantly have great sales on their 12-15 brush sets mostly under or around $20 which is a great price for that many good brushes.

E.L.F work really well & are great if your on a tight budget, I would also recommend the Real Technique brushes by Samantha Chapman I just got mine and they've instantly became my favourite, not too expensive either :)
