Some people do spray it before makeup however when I went in, they told me to spray it on top of make up. it's a finishing spray, but don't get that confused with a setting spray. the fix+ alone will give your makeup a dewy appearance since it essentially melts the makeup in place onto your face.
I reccomend using a setting spray after the fix+ unless you like the dewy look

Mm I'd still use a primer. I spray it before my primer. Or I'll spray it after my make up.
I'll pray it on eyeshadows to make them more vibrant.
I spray it in my hair too lol.

I use mine on top of my foundation before I apply blush/highlight/bronzer/ect then again when my makeup is all done to give me a dewy look and to keep my skin hydrated. I also use it with pigments or eyeshadows for a more pop to the look. Spray your prude with it then pally like normal and it help it to adhere and makes it stand out. Also you can spray straight onto pressed pigments or eyeshadows instead of the brush

You can use the Mac fix for so many things! before applying your MakeUp and after, like a finishing spray. I use it as a primer for my eyeshadow or when I am using glitter on my eyelids & it works amazing.

Don't replace your primer with it, it has some stay power but not that much. I use it to foil my eyeshadows with and it works amazingly. And it helps shadows that have a lot of fallout as well.

I love it! I use it as a finishing spray and with pigments. You can use it as a primer but I prefer not to.
