Goth is varying. The girls above are playing up the glam, others focus on romance..period clothing with bell sleeves, hookeye closures, long, flowing skirts, others have a grungey vibe with unwashed hair or a "messy hairstyle", black jeans, bondage pants/capris...tees.lots of rich textures and jeweled tones paired with combat boots or boots and shoes with buckles and platforms..then there's spikes, leather, latex...So many ways to express yourself. I'm a huge fan of gothabilly myself which channels vintage styles adding a darker vibe. Some great sites are Demonia, Rivithead, Lip Service, Vampire Freaks and Se7en Deadly Clothing.

I like my goth with steampunk elements, and lots of glam, and occasionally with Victorian elements when it comes to Lolita, but that's an entirely different type of clothing.

I used to shop at Heavy Red a lot about 11-12 years ago and their clothes were amazingly beautiful and wonderful quality! Lip Service, Angry Young &Poor, Dark Garden, Imaginarium Apparel, New Rock, Demonia are all great too.
I used to shop at a lot of stores in NYC about 10-12 years ago, so I'm not sure how many of these are still open or if they have websites, but they are all worth a google search: ENZ's, Freaks Lounge, Ophelia Unbound, Electric Circus, Purple Passion, Funhouse NYC, Religious Sex, Ian's NYC, and Trash &Vaudeville. I know for a fact that Trash and Vaudeville is still open in New York so they probably have a website, I'm not sure if the others do or not, but I would definitely google them =)
