Whenever I blowdry my hair at the roots it gets dry and kinda sticky. Why?

Here are a few ideas I've personaly noticed with my hair.
1. You may have a small amount of conditioner left in it.
2. The blow dryers heat is way to high
3. yours not using a brush so you hair begins to matte together at the roots
4. To much heat protectant.

You might be using to much product

To much product (serums or you aren't washing out your conditioner good) you might also try a clarifying shampoo and conditioner (not for everyday) because you could just have product build up. When you are blow drying, try starting at the bottom, and then make your way to the top (this is what I do). I would try a different shampoo though for
sure just for regular everyday use, not the clarifying one...
