Remove the makeup. Wet your face and get some salt to scrub that area and then use a moisturizer

Remove your foundation, find a very moisturising moisturiser and mix it with a bit of foundation, your flakes will look better but it will be slightly less coverage, also if you have a serum but that on dry areas first

I would do this:

1. Take off the foundation.
2. Use a scrub, a paste of water with aspirin/baking soda is good. (preferabley aspirin. I would never usually recommend baking soda because of its high ph but for a one off use its great)
3. Do a moisturising face mask. If you don't own one look in the kitchen and use what you've got. Honey, banana, avocado, oil, egg yolks and plain yogurt all make great face masks. Just use want you fancy mash it all together and put it on your face even if only for ten minutes although 20 minutes is ideal.
4. Moisturise really well, add more than your usually would and wait a good ten minutes before putting anything else on. If your face feels a little greasy after 10 minutes from excess moisturiser use a tissue to blot it off.
5. Use a primer if you have one as it will really help to create a smooth canvas for the foudation.
6. when you apply the foundation be careful when you choose a brush. Using a buffing brush will lift any remaining flakes and make them more obvious. I like to use a flat foundation brush but I've also heard that a damp beauty blender does an excellent job on dry skin.

Finally remember that even if your skin still looks a little flaky up close the photos won't pick that up as long as you take full body picks and it will probably be a little dark when you get there (as these kind of things always are) so noone will notice anyway. I hope you have a great time.
