Do you want advice on aftercare or the process or opinions?

Process: Go into a fully lisensed piercing/tatto parlour and make sure you have read lots of reviews on it. Also make sure every piece of equipment they use is disinfected.
When they are piercing you it HAS TO BE A THICK NEEDLE, NOT A GUN. the gun will shatter your cartliedge, so if they whip out a gun, I advise you leave the place!
Pain: I hate needles and I'm horrible with pain, but the guy who did mine was super nice and made sure he did it quick, the actual piercing didn't hurt bad, just felt like pressure for a second, the worst part is getting the jewelry in but its over fast.
Cleaning it: If you want you can make a salt wash with hot water and salt and dissolve the salt in the water. Make sure its cool before you use it though. Just dip a cotton bud in and dab the piercing.
Healing: It took around 4-6 months to heal because mine ripped out a few times, but its good now, just don't play with it heaps!
A hoop also heals quicker if it isnt healing very well!

A hoop doesn't heal quicker, most piercers advise against getting a hoop because the piercing heals in a different direction to how it's supposed to with a stud, that's why they ask you to wait at least a month before changing it. Also, use a spoon of rock salt diluted in hot water let it sit and clean it twice a day. :)
