I use the elf eyebrow kit forward everyday. Mostly because its only $3 and it lasts foreverrre it come with a darker gel side and a lighter powder side. I like it, before that I was using the mac eyebrow pencil in spiked which was awesome but a little too expensive so now I only use that for special occasions. I also love the madeyewlook flat angled brush to apply, its amaaaazing.

Nyx is also sold on their website, but I'm going to guess that was implied. lol... At the moment I am out of everything for my brows, so I am making use with some eyeshadow. However I talked to another beautylish member, and she had a picture of how her brows looked when using the elf cream eyeliner, and a clear brow gel over top it. I was amazed, she said with a brow gel it easily lasts all day and doesn't smudge, plus it is inexpensive. Here is the picture...

I know you said you don't like using a pencil, but maybe you should try combining it with a powder :) I fill my brows in with a pencil, then do a matte powder eye shadow that matches my hair color over it to make it softer and blend better. Then I comb through them with an eyebrow comb!
