I read somewhere online that vitamin E oil is good for getting your eyelashes to grow longer. I was wondering if anyone else has heard it too and if theyve tried it and know if it really works?

Castor oil and coconut oil will fortify, lengthen, and thicken your lashes. Try apply either oil at night. You will see results..

I usually use Vaseline before going to sleep at night to moisturize my lashes when it's dry. I haven't tried something specifically for my lashes I was going to try the ThomasRoth items from Sephora but then I read in MakeupAlley that it could possibly cause eye discoloration =S so I didn't.

I think I'm gonna try the castor oil or coconut oil idea. Where can I get the oils?

Try to buy the unrefined coconut oil. I tried Walmart but it only had the refined kind. I buy my coconut oil at Whole Foods for about 8.99.

I use Vaseline on my eyelashes and eyebrow every night. I do see a difference to my eyelashes. They are longer! I have also tried Mac prep and prime serum and rapid lash. Both work but Vaseline is def cheaper and just as effective. And all u need to do is every night! Can also be used for eyebrows!

You can try the Rimmel lash serum as well. I used it as directed and it worked. The cost of the serum is about 8.00$

I wanted to try the Rommel lash serum but couldn't find it. I really love the Rimmel lash accelorator mascara. It really lengthen my lashes a bit.

I also use vaseline on my lashes at night, and it really worked to stop my lash fallout. Not so much success in lengthening/thickening, though. I've been interested in some DIY mixtures, and I found this one recipe used by a girl who got awesome results. She used castor oil, vitamin e oil, and aloe vera. Check out her post, I'm gonna try it out soon!
