How to get rid of dry, flakey spots?

I used hydrogen peroxide on my pimple, which got rid of it, but left a dry, red spot of skin that practically flaked off. How can I get rid of this? Is there a good moisturizer of something? Thanks.

Aloe is good for moisturizing acne without causing more.

What I do is scrub my face daily & gently with face wash; the gentle scrubbing removes little flakes & pieces of loose skin. Also, I moisturize my face afterwards to prevent future flaking from dry skin.
