To make your eyes look bigger would you apply eyeliner to the lash line or water line or both? Thanks!

If you apply white eyeliner to the corner of your eyes closest to your nose it makes you look more awake and your eyes look bigger.

Lots of mascara, tip and bottom and eyeshadow used as liner to cheat your natural lashline. It takes practice. You could also use a smudgeable pencil liner.

I used minimal shadow on my lids and focused black & brown liners on top lashline, outer corners and lower lashline and of course..,lashes, lashes, lashes. Their are subtle to dramatic tips to make your eyes look bigger. The trick is finding a style that you are comfortable with. Check out youtube for different tutorials.

I personally don't care for the white liner in the waterline trick. I prefer to use a complimentary waterline liner to my shadow or regular liner. For eg. if I'm using a brown or copper shadow or eyeli ner, I'll use a metallic gold waterline liner. If I'm using purple shadow or eyeliner, I'll use a light metallic violet or pinky-lilac waterline liner. I like the corresponding waterliner liner because it looks more cohesive and pulled together like different shades of the same color family just fading into each other.

Curl your lashes! Eyeliner on your lower lashes to the halfway point. Lining all the way to inner corner can actually make the eye look smaller.
