Okay, well the purpose of contouring is to imitate the oval face shape which is why it's hard to find contouring for that. but, contouring just under your cheekbones should help a bit.

as for the swelling, how long has it been going on? have you seen a doctor? do you think it could be allergies? to a food or a new product?

Where it says contour, that's under your cheekbone. your cheekbone is where you apply blush, you want to apply your contour in the hollow underneath that. for example, make a fish face and feel for your cheekbones.
