Question about hourglass primer.

Hey ladies,

I recently just picked up hourglass mineral veil primer (shoutout to the BL girls that gave it good reviews). My question is do you use face lotion before applying the primer? I'm currently using Olay SPF 15 daily moisturizer.

I read an article recently that said to use either moisturizer or primer but not both?

I personally use a moisturizer before I prime. You should always moisturize your skin to keep it healthy. Hourlgass primer does not moisturize the skin but rather creates a barrier between your skin and your makeup and it also absorbs any excess oil on your face.

People say not to use both because it can make your skin look oily & shiny. I moisturize before I use the hourglass primer & I haven't had any issues (:
