Things to so before a ball?

So I have an academy ball coming up at my school and I already have my dress/shoes/jewelry/hair/makeup bought and scheduled, but is there anything else I need to do? I was thinking a spray tan because I'm super pale, and maybe an eyebrow wax? Any other ideas are appreciated!
