So my ends are really damaged because I used to straighten it everyday & I had ombré hair & I dyed it back to my natural color. I have now stopped straightening it & just let it be. I don't do anything to my hair but wash it. I want to get a body wave perm because I don't like my natural straight hair but I'm afraid it will finish ruining my hair. How damaging is it? Should I treat my hair first with oils & masks & all of that & then get the perm?
& is it possible to straighten my hair & my perm will still be there after I wash it?

I recommend you to use pro naturals moroccan argan oil hair mask which will help you to restore your hair. :)

I agree with monique, pro naturals is the best way to start treating and repairing your hair. When your hair is healthier, consider getting a keratin treatment to make your hair more manageable.

Honestly perms are very damaging to your hair (even gentle ones). If your hair is too damaged, a perm won't even work or it will literally melt off! I'd suggest going into a salon and have them do a strand test. Then they will show you if your hair can hold up to a perm. If it can, defiantly do a few treatments of Moroccan oil, protein masks etc; but you can never make your hair healthy again, you can only help it. Once your damaged ends are cut off then you'll have your healthy hair back.
