I want to further my training as an MUA. The problem being there aren't any classes in this area except for esthetics. I need suggestions online courses, books, dvds etc.

Same here. I don't want to take cosmetology at all. From what I understand most esthetic courses don't focus on makeup.

I'm looking into Robert Jones Beauty Acadamy. It's online and very reasonably priced!! Plus I love Robert Jones!!

There are traveling makeup classes too..and sometimes the Cosmo schools will have seminars on just makeup.. keep your eyes peeled for that..

Check out the site of Danessya Myricks of I make you beautiful. She's an amazing makeup artist that has made a few dvds, cosmetics, and books. Also, I would suggest the Kevin Aucoin book Face Forward. Its awesome!
