Well I have the same problem and I just make sure my skin looks bright and healthy.
I use the loreal youth code texture perfector serum and moisturizer and it makes my skin soft (even though there's acne) and my skin is glowy but not oily.
Lastly, just be confident. You're beautiful and it's not because of the foundation :)

I know how you feel, I was picked on as well. I'm an athlete so I don't get to wear make up every time I am out with people, friends, team mates, etc, and you just get used to it.
I'm glad I could help :)

Well they have these lightening creams for hyper pigmentation like scars. I would try mixing your foundation with moisturizer, adding less foundation over time till your just applying moisturizer. I find that this really helps to ease you into it and get you comfortable with wearing less and eventually to none. I feel like if you wear foundation a lot and then one day just stop.. You tend to not feel very comfortable and end up back to wearing foundation. Basically don't go cold turkey lol

Well, I know what you mean. I have acne and scars and I find it difficult too. Try to wear instead of foundation only bb cream - it will give you for the beginning some coverage but not that much. It will show a little acne to you and other people so after some time if you go without nothing it won't be that hard for you. Also try to lead away attention of acne by your eyes or lips. Good luck with it, I know it's hard. But I always think about something like: if anyone else has acne I don't think about him nothing bad, it's still my friend no matter of acne, so everyone else probably take it same. You know we see it more terrible,embarrassing,... that it in reality is.

Smile. It sound silly but even though I have acne/scaring in my chin and scaring on my forehead which I don't cover on a daily basis. No one's ever mentioned it. I think its because because people can see that I have acne and scaring and I'm still happy so there for their brain kind of goes well she doesn't care so why should I. It also helps that I was surrounded by nice people but you'd be surprised how much a positive attitude can hide.

I find if I have days where I just want to look a bit more polished. Instead of pulling out the foundation which can feel heavy esp. in summer. I use a creamy concealer to hide the worst offenders then go over my whole face with a powder that has some coverage. It won't hide everything in the way a full face of foundation does but find it just help even my skin tone and blur everything a little whilst still feeling super light.

I have a very simple ten step process:

One. Tell yourself you are beautiful.

Two. Repeat

Three. Repeat

Four. Repeat

Five. Smile

Six. Tell yourself you are beautiful

Seven. Ignore anyone who's looking at you like your not

Eight. Ignore anyone who tries to tell you you're not (or kick 'em where the sun don't shine...or have another snappy insult back)

Nine. Tell yourself you're beautiful

Ten. BELIEVE that you're beautiful.

The key to it is truly believing that you are beautiful without the foundation. Even if you don't feel that way, lie to yourself until it's so ingrained within you that's how you feel. Don't look to anyone else to tell you, for anyone else to compliment you, compliment and tell yourself and ignore anyone who tries to tell you otherwise.

I feel you! I'm going through the same thing where acne is the reason for my lack of confidence and ever since I started wearing make up my confidence boosted like crazy, and now I can't live with out it because I feel ugly. I guess it just depends on the person but you should try BB creams in specific Garniers BB cream for combination to oily skin, it has great coverage but is 10x better than foundation

The thing you need to remember is that acne is only temporary. It comes and it goes. Remind yourself that having acne doesn't define you. You aren't any of your imperfections , or your body shape/type or whatever! You have to remember that no matter what, you are gorgeous. I completely understand where you're coming from. I used to get picked on for my weight and my serious serious acne. I stopped wearing foundation, and it made me so self conscious at first, but then I realized that it doesn't matter if I have acne. I'm still beautiful. And you are too acne or not.

I know exactly how you feel. I use to have acne back in middle school and high school now that it's cleared up I'm left with a lot of acne scars. I use to feel so insecure if someone were to see me without foundation on but I learned to think positive about it. And I also don't like to wear foundation either because it feels gross and I feel it can make my skin worse. But just think your letting your skin breathe. and be confident everyone has flaws and most girls have skin problems so if your brave enough to show the world and not wear makeup that says something about you:)
