Why do people buy clipless curling wands when they already have one of the same size they would buy except it does have a clip? It works just the same as a clipless for me if I just don't use the clip.

Before I had a clipless one, I found my hair would get tangled easier and the handle would often get in the way! It's just for ease. I didn't take my clip off either because I need a clip curling iron too!

I totally agree Ruby! Before I got my conair wand as a gift I just removed the clip. Boom. Free and how you have a curling wand.

Except the tapered ones give a slightly different curl but you wouldn't be able to tell

I love my wand, my hair doesn't hold a curl with a clip, like its dead straight & wicked soft so I have to use a wand to get the look I want. Other suggestion is hot rollers tooo

My hair will not, for some reason, curl with a normal curling iron. I've tried so many different brands and sizes and hairsprays to hold but it never worked. wind my wand though, my curls always come out perfect and stay for at least a full day until I go to bed.

I have the same problem as Kimberly! So when I bought a wand it curled very nicely and stayed until I washed my hair.
