When my face and the rest of my body is a different color?
My neck and body is lighter than my face. My face has a lot of redness too.
The only foundation I've found that matches me is Dior skinflash in linen 201. But it's $62 and it doesn't have any skin benefits.
The veins on my wrist are mostly green with one or two purples.
I'd say a light skin tone with yellow undertones.

When this happens a lot of people match their face with the rest of their body. I'd say go to MAC or any makeup counter & tell them your issues about wanting to match your face with your body. They should be able to help you.

Go to any store you want to get matched in , sephora has a good foundation matching system I use it a lot and they let you save your results. Mac counters usually know how to match as well

I think the color of your face should match with your neck.if you have pale skin you can check out nars and clarins.

Well if I go to sephora, which I have, they'll put their machine to my face.
And their lighting sucks in that store.
And no, thanks, I don't want to get a tan?

I had the same dilemma. It's because the sun naturally hits the face more than our necks. In the summer the color difference felt more apparent to me. At sephora they kept matching me with foundations like mufe and my skin looked so dull and beige. I went to Mac and talked to one of the makeup artists and he took the time to try a few foundations and I actually bought the same one I always wore (matchmaster ) but a shade lighter. I use a different foundation in the summer that's a bit darker.

Just match your foundation to the rest of your body. Wearing one that matches your face will just look mask like compared to your neck. Definitely use a sunblock and purchase a foundation with a yellow undertone which can help with the redness. You could try out the warm shades that L'oreal True Match offers. Or you can try a foundation from MAC, Bobbi Brown, Iman or Kryolan. These brands have definitely got the yellow tones right. I do, however feel as though kryolan has some of the best yellow toned foundations for me personally because they have a tad but of green for olive skins. I noticed some of the MAC and Bobbi Brown foundations are warm toned but not the right warm tone... If that makes sense? They tend to look more peachy while Kryolan is more warm/olive toned.
