So I went to the beach today but got really bad sunburn (forgot to apply sun cream!) unfortunately I don't tan, I just burn really easily. I also have a rosacea problem... So right now, my face is soooo red. How can I make the redness go away FAST?
I've also heard that exfoliating the skin will help, but I don't know if that will irritate the skin more?
Anything I could use, try, or do to make it go away?!

Ok thanks! I'll try that out.

Don't put aloe on a fresh sunburn as it traps the heat! First take a cool bath (not cold, pool temp) and then apply a soothing lotion, this is where aloe comes in handy. Afterwards make sure you stay moisturized so your skin can heal properly without premature peeling.

Lacto Calamine lotion really helps sunburns, also do not exfoliate cuz your skin is really sensitive right now, you will cause severe damage by exfoliating. For getting rid of the burn sensation, freeze some aloe gel in an ice tray and keep a clean muslin cloth to enclose the ice cubes while gently patting it on your skin. Do not rub the ice cubes on the skin directly. The muslin cloth will absorb cold aloe gel and reduce redness, my roomie also has Rosacea, this works so well on her. And at night, sleep without a pillow so you don't chaff your face any more. Do apply a thick layer of lacto calamine before bed.

My mom always put plain yogurt on me when I got burned and I still do it to this day it works really good.

I have heard using teabags helps a lot. Wet the teabag and dab it on your face and then don't wash it off overnight, the morning after the redness will be less :) you can google it.
