Acne.. Help!

I have never had this bad of acne all throughout highschool. But, ever since graduation, i have had acne throughout my chin and cheeks. I am going to cosmetology school and i feel so unprofessional with this acne. I would appreciate some ideas of good products to use?
Also, i was wondering if my town water could be the culprit because my sister came up from Pittsburgh for Thanksgiving and she broke out from being here for like 3 days... Thanks, please help!
