Keep was at a minimum, wash in cold water, use color protecting shampoo, use color enrichment treatments like Revlon color bombs :)

Girl!? great question! I'm wondering that too..I dye my hair black and its gone in a month and I try not to wash my hair that often and still fades...sorry couldn't answer your question... :)

I've been wondering the same thing. I don't have much experience with dying my hair but recently dyed my a very dark brown/black and want to keep it looking decent as long as possible.

Wash in cold and not often, use dry shampoo to help with not washing often. Color depositing shampoos or conditioners work great for me.
