Oh my word!! Dr. Oz says one thing and everyone takes it as fact. Stop the madness ladies...sometimes he is on point with advice and sometimes I want to grab him thru the screen and ask him if he's insane. I cook with canola from time to time and I spaz out if I get the stuff on my fingers because the texture and faint smell disgust me. If you're looking into introducing oils into your hair care program I would investigate coconut, argan and castor oils. And you should use those as a sealant to lock in nutrients after applying a leave in conditioner. Castor oil and coconut oil you can use as overnight hair mask to be rinsed out the next morning. Argan is a much lighter oil out of the one's I just mentioned so you can use it more creatively when it comes to application use. Leave the canola for cooking.
