Hormones could be a reason, also could be a change in your skincare routine. Have you switched to some new products lately?

Then make sure you're using a spot treatment for the acne, drink lotsa water and eat healthy. 15% tea tree oil works great in drying my acne, I am terribly acne prone too.

Yea... If your late that means something is screwed up in your hormones which can just whack out your face... I hate it! I would use a spot treatment but beyond that there isn't much you can do. Spot treatments and other products are meant to treat bacterial acne which happens when dirt and thing get on your face and the bacteria buildup causes pimples. However, no one really tells you this. If you have hormonal acne there isn't much you ca do because it will keep flaring up when you have hormonal issues. Spot treatments and things can't correct it either because they get rid if bacteria but they cannot treat the source... However I would recommend trying sulfur soap. It smells awful but I use it and it works for me. Mostly it rids me of bacterial acne and it helps reduce the appearance of hormonal acne... Hope all that was clear!!
