Work in really small strokes, with as steady a hand as you can manage. It also helps to draw it with pencil first then go over it with liquid. Always keep makeup remover q tips on hand (I use Almay's, they're like $4.50 at any drugstore) to easily fix any mistakes.

It is sometimes helpful to map it out in white or nude liner first, that way you can make sure it will be even. I find that its easier if you tilt your head back slightly because its easier for me to follow the natural shape of my eyes but its really just about finding what works best for you and ofcourse, lots and lots of practice! :)
