Ombre hair color

So I was thinking about getting my hair colored with the ombre dark on the top lighter on the bottom because I cannot afford blond highlights every 3 to 6 months and I was just wondering if anybody that has had ombre hair color done do you like it and is it easier to maintain.

I think it'd look good. I'm a big fan of ombre and it's waaayyy easier to maintain than normal highlights or coloring because you don't have to worry about roots since the hairstyle is all about roots not matching the ends lol. I love how it looks and I love the simplicity. There's no rules so you can make the lightening start higher up or lower down or however you want. plus you get to go blonde without having the upkeep lpl
