Bought a sample of The They're Real mascara today but was wondering what are your views and experiences with it and what do you think about it. Any tips for applying it too and should I curl my lashes before hand?

I really like it, at first it can get a little clumpy but after a few uses it should be fine and yes I'd say curl your lashes beforehand! Helps a ton :)

What I do with like every mascara is use the "gunk" at the tip of the brush. But what I do is run it across the ends of my lashes and then do the zig zag motion from root to end. I've heard that the sample is good but some didn't like the full size

I tried the sample & it wasn't anything special to me. Like every other mascara, you should curl your lashes & apply more than one coat, but even then, I got the same results as I would've with a drugstore brand. One the other hand, if you're looking for a great mascara that actually does what it says it'll do, I recommend Better Than Sex by Too Faced! It's incredible! Take it from someone who has short lashes. I hope this helped!

I really didn't enjoy it it was clumpy. my lashes are pretty long and I didn't think it made them any longer.

I loved it but I'm in love with Loreal Voluminous more. I didn't have to curl my lashes when I used Benefit They're Real. I just grew tired of buying $23 tube of mascara when there are so many great one's available for far less. I hope you like it as much as I do. :)

I agree with recommending the two faced better than sex mascara:) I have tried them both and liked the two faced one much better! best mascara I've tried.

I like it, but it seems like it's either a love/hate thing lol. It doesn't really clump on me. The one that everyone else loves that just doesn't work for me is the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara. I was really disappointed with it but everyone raves about it. Different thinks work for different people though :)

Love the product! My suggestion would be to get the travel size (sold at Sephora for $10) as opposed to the full sized product. I find that I lose out when buying the full sized product because I'm never able to use the entire amount because it dries out on me and at $24 I can't afford for this to happen! Opt for the travel size. More bang for your buck for sure!!

Better than sex is amazing but only lasted me three months. Too expensive but I loved it!! So I'm on the Loreal butterfly and I like it a lot.
