All mac nc35 ladies!!

So I have a question, I am nc35 in mac and I have purchased the pro longwear concealer, at first I was suggested by a girl who I am very close with who works at mac to use nw25 , but when I went today to buy it the girl suggested nw20 and I got that , does anyone use the concealer and what shade do you use?

I'm an nc42 and I use nc35 in the prolongwear concealer but I'm going to get NW30. It's nw instead of nc because it will help brighten up your eyes more. Did you get the concealer for scars/blemishes or under eyes?

Ms L I want to brighten , I just have a bit of blue under my eyes so I'm not sure if the nw20 is too light and I should have just went with the nw25 -.- always an issue with mac face products! I thought I was nc42 but turns out I'm nc35

It sounds like each rep suggested a lighter shade than your skin color for undereye concealer which is standard. But of the reps chose a "cool" tone possible a peach or pink undertone to counteract really dark bluish undereye circles.

Thank you ladies :) I'm going to just try the nw20 when I do my makeup and if it's too light I will exchange it for nw25.

The best way to find out if your skin has a natural "cool" or "warm" tone is to look at your wrist or forearm and if your veins are a prominent blue colour then you have a pinkish undertone which in that case you would want the nw shades! If the veins appear more greenish then you have more of a golden yellow undertone which would be nc shades :)!!
