Agree with Megan. I have thick wavy hair and when it was short like yours I had it layered. Huge mistake. My hair looked like a huge poofy mess all the time.

Thank you ladies! I realized even when I get a trim my hair poofs out enough so I may skip it on the layers, also because I usually just let my hair fall natural. I don't like to use a lot of heat because I want it to grow. Thanks so much for the opinions!

Yeah layers will make it poof up. my hair is extremely curly and I get short layers, but that's because I love big hair. I wish I had big beyonce hair lol. so unless you want big hair, stay away from layers.
