I've had acne for around 8 years now, its better than before, but I still get really bad breakouts! It knocks my confidence so much. I've tried a lot of products, even tried prescribed creams from the doctors and they haven't worked! Any suggestions please? Products for sensitive skin would be a bonus :) Thanks!

I use a home made facial mask. It is cheap and it works for me and I have sensitive skin. It is honey, extra virgin olive oil and white sugar. You mix all of those together in small portions and smooth it nicely onto your face and leave it for about an hour, the olive oil will act as a moisturizer & the honey is a natural antibiotic so it will help with the pimples.

If medications aren't working maybe you should switch your pillow cases more often, are you sharing makeup brushes ? You should always wash brushes they hold so much dirt! I've never really had a pimple but when I do I wash my brushes wash my sheets & pillowcases because that holds bacteria too. maybe your face is reacting to all the treatments u use . Try washing with a Mild bar of soap like dove .I'm really sorry it makes me you feel bad about t :/

yeh i suffer with acne too ive tried both pills but the dianette worked best for me. clinique is really good but if u get no results you may need antibiotics from doctor/dermatologist. try not to use manual scrubs over acne too as it can aggrivate the skin and spread bacteria under the skin which makes it worse and double cleanse morning nd night to remove all makeup and dirt from the skin.i hope u get some results :)

I have breakouts, tried otc products as well as Dr prescribed creams. I use burts bees facewash and say yes to tomatoes acne spot treatment. These products help me keep my skin problems to a minimum. I saw a Dr and she told me I have something called pcos. It is the cause of my breakouts. google pcos and if you have results, talk to your Dr about it. I hope this helps you.

One more thing: I use a mix of apple cider vinegar and equal parts water as a toner on my face. I do it at night before bed. It smells a bit, but it dries in a minute or two and there is no longer an odor. I apply it with a cotton ball.

I had perfect skin until Mother Nature decided to punish me on my 18nth birthday and ever since i've not seen my old flawless face.. But something that has helped me alot is crushing aspirin and mixing it with a water and yoghurt .. U should try it out.

i used to have bad breakouts due to hormonal imbalance. the pills helped but only to a certain extent. the derma products did little help too. so i switched to organic products and it did wonders for me :) sunflower oil as makeup remover, raw honey as facial wash, apple cider on spots, non comedogenic moisturizer :)

I know how it feels like to get giant painful pimples and yes I know they suck.

The best thing to do to help clear your acne is by following these steps and I swear you will see a difference:

-make sure you are using the right skin care products that is for your skin type (like oily, acne-prone etc)
-be healthy and exercise
-drink at least 8 glasses of water a day
-believe you will have clear skin because when you start thinking positive you'll feel a lot better and your skin will stop stressing out
-you can try oatmeal which is good for acne and its helps to cleanse, helps reduce inflammation and its very gentle, don't try if your allergic though
-use spot treatments if needed
-go to a dermatologist
-be hygienic like change pillow cases, clean phone, don't touch you face etc
-NEVER EVER pop or squeeze pimples, you can make it worse and just cause more acne, if theres a head its really your choice but you will only scar your face
-pull your hair back away from your face and make sure its clean otherwise the oils will transfer on your face
-smile because you're beautiful

:) good luck.
