I have really long hair (3/4 down my back) and it's very thick and heavy, and gets greasy after about 36 hours after I've washed it. It's very frustrating because all I can do with it is curl/straighten it, or put it in a ponytail. Another annoying thing is when I want to have a high ponytail, it becomes very "fine" and won't move, it's as if it must all be in place, which isn't too bad sometimes, but is annoying when you want a messy bun.
Sorry, I guess what I'm trying to say is besides cutting it, are there any ways to get it more..."normal"?

**or if not "normal", any suggestions on what hairstyles I would be able to do?
