Murad acne treatment at sephora. I don't think you should wear makeup until your skin is better. but if you want then either derma blend, bare minerals, or este lauder double wear

I had moderate acne as well & I managed to clear it up by:
- using good makeup removers & properly getting all my makeup off. I use MUFE Sens'Eyes makeup remover & Neutrogena makeup removing wipes for the face makeup.
- I exfoliate nightly, using Clean & Clear Deep Action scrub.
- I use a Garnier toner to help balance out my skins pH. this has actually helped me out the most. since I started using toner, my skin is way less oily, & I get less pimples.
- I moisturize twice a day, using Clean & Clear Acne Control moisturizer.
- I use face masks about twice a week, one to deep clean my pores (Freeman Lemon & Mint clay mask) & one for my skin (Lush's Mask of Magnaminty).
- I also use pore strips about 1-2 times a week, depending on how my skin is behaving, lol. Biore makes great ones.

What topical treatments have you tried? I'm on a combination of an antibiotic gel called AcZone and a retin-a type cream called Tretinoin. Both have worked so well for me. I'm currently off them because the weather has been so dry and I have some really stubborn dry patches that won't go away, but even not using it every single day I still don't have much acne anymore. If you haven't tried either of those I'd look into them both.

I swear by the clarisonic. Its pricey but SO worth it. Before it, I tried rx meds, high end serums and face washes, vitamins, EVERYTHING. The clarisonic has improved my skin so much. I get maybe 1-2 pimples a month now around my period, but they disappear fast and don't scar. Look into it 👌

Different things work for different people n skin types - I am sensitive combo/oily skin and I stick to natural products that don't irritate my psoriasis - so I currently use Mario badescu products, witch hazel toner, and tea tree oil spot treatment - once a week I exfoliate with glycolic acid foaming cleanser - and for makeup I stick to paraben free products that are noncomedogenic like Clinique acne line, MUFE and kat Von D so hope this helps!
