Soooo, I finally bought it. I hear girls rave about this stuff all day long & I gave in. My question is: how do you apply it? puff? brush? sponge?
I tried a puff and it looked disgusting & chalky, so I must not be using it right lol

I use a synthetic kabuki brush and it applies it flawlessly with out it being too cakey or chalky.

Personally, everytime I used it, it looked chalky & powdery. At first I thought it looked good, but I'm pretty sure that's because it was raved about so I had the mindset that it was going to be great.
My alternative is the Maybelline dream matte, I love it way more than Rimmel stay matte! :)

I used a brush but it still looked cakey. Try Maybelline dream matte instead. Also use a Kabuki type brush to apply.

I agree fully with Katarina! But since you already have the Rimmel, may as well make use of it. Try a kabuki brush, it picks up the product sparingly, especially if the bristles are tight and stiff (ecotools retractable kabuki, $8, is perfect). This type of brush allows for a lessened chance of over-applying.

Side note: I have the maybelline dream matte & I hate it, lmfao. Thanks though, girls. I'll try a different applicator.
