Your hair is at its weakest when its wet so straightening it when damp isnt good for it.

Ya don't do it it could be dangerous since hair straighteners are not supposed to touch water
And that sizzling crackling noise when you do it is your hair like baking and damaging the hair

It is VERY bad for our hair. If you have to straighten your hair let it air dry and make sure it is completely dry then use a heat protectant then straighten. :)

Yes because the straightners heat takes all the vitamins of your hair and thats why you get split ends as they are tye most weakest parts and get harmed quickly

It's bad on multiple levels. If your hair is wet, it can get into the iron and possibly create a fire/electrocute you (though that's a bit unlikely, it can happen). It also causes the water inside your hair to BOIL while you flat iron it, which damages your hair exponentially more than flat ironing alone.

How about blow drying your hair instead of straightening it? its less heat and damage and you get basically the same result if you use a good hairbrush.
