The first thing is to invest in some brushes. They do not have to be expensive try ELF brushes and Sonia Kaushik brushes. The proper brushes get the job done well. The next thing I recommend is getting products similar to those used in the videos. If you can buy the expensive brands ok if not yet then try something similar in the drugstore. Also I say that practice the look at least one time while watching the video so you know how to do it the second time. Make sure though to get a good eye primer like Bare Esentuals, Too Faced, NYX
