Now I don't know if toner will work again since it didn't do much the first time I've been using purple shampoo as well. Any suggestions to what I should do? Maybe use a blonde hair dye to blend it all together? Thanks xo

I think you should get a blonde hair die similar to your color and just die your roots same thing happens to me and the toner dint do much help.

I would do elaine c. said that could cause your hair to turn green, you should either rebleach them in two weeks, try john frieda shampoo the purple one helps with brassness or get a toner the toner worked for

Prob best to just go get your hair foiled like normal with bleach the same thing happened to me it was a disaster. save your self the trouble and just get it foiled that's what helped me

I have problems with this and I put white vinegar on them, let it sit for a few minutes then washed with purple shampoo and it seemed to lessen the brassiness. I also use a purple shampoo every time I wash my hair

I don't know what kind of toner you're using, but Wella is epic. Also invest in a good purple shampoo like Shimmer Lights.

get a semi-permanent hair color in a shade lighter then you are going for with either a neutral base or an ash base. make sure its one level lighter tho since you are applying a color over another color, it will make it darker so one level lighter will work perfectly. also semi or demi shades are used with 10 volume peroxide so you wont damage your hair anymore. here is a great video explaining this if you want more info. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UOCB7kRCOU
