I have shoulder length (a little past actually) brown hair and I'm in desperate need of something to do with it. I just cut it but I need something new to switch it up. I was thinking maybe an ombré to blonde but I'm not sure.

Check out pictures of Kylie Jenners new hair. It has a copper blonde ombré and it would suit you so well.

See ombre is very pretty, but it also really damages your ends. If you have coarse hair I don't suggest you do this.

Try an ombre with the auburn on the bottom half of your hair. its less damaging then bleaching it and with dark hair, its so hard not to get orange hair or to just damage the crap out of it in order to get the orange out. I did this to my friend using the loreal hicolor hilights in red and she loves it!
