Please help super important.

So I've had my cartilage pierced for about 10 weeks now and in about 6 more weeks (16 weeks total) I have cheer tryouts and I have to take my eating out for that. Will my hole close up or anything like that if I leave it put for about 2 hours? Please help it's super important. And how long can I keep it out because over the summer I'll have to take it out for longer periods of time and I'm not sure if I can cover it with a band aid or use clear earring retainers.

I agree with Jacqlyn ^
Ask if you can wear a clear or skin colored earring. Mine I left out for a week and I was able to put it back in. But my don't heal fast on my ears.

I've had mine in for a little bit more than a half a year.

Thank you it turns out I can wear them to practice and games just not competitions so I will try the clear earring. Thank you all.
