Should I dye my hair?

I want to do something different to my hair without cutting it any shorter. I was thinking about doing a reverse ombre style. With my natural blond at my roots and a subtle strawberry blonde on the bottom. What do you think? Everybody I have asked said it would look really pretty, but I need more opinions! Also, is it easy take care of an ombre style.? It seems like there would be less upkeep involved. This is my hair now.

I love ombres to but I don't know much about them.. I think a light brown or a light ashy brown would look great on you
